It’s a crazy thought to give someone else control over our lives…
The way we think, the way we speak, or even how we interact, all ”controlled” by the One who gave it all
This was the hardest thing for me to do – to relinquish me, because I had been taught to be strong, but for all the wrong reasons. I thought it was me against the world, and yet, Jesus showed me that I was made for the world
The ”what if’s” will always keep on coming, and I speak a lot on doubt because that was, and is, the enemy’s plan, but even if the ”what if’s” still keep on coming, why not turn it around to the nature of God…
What if…God encourages me?
What if…God pours out His love
What if…I receive true freedom
What if…
Friends, there will come a time where there is a choice to be made. Some believe it is merely to say the salvation prayer, but if that were the case, why did Jesus command us to ”follow” Him? The choice is ultimately to surrender it all to Jesus
Will we lay down our lives to follow Jesus’ ways? To become more like Him, as we learn about Him. Where, His thoughts become ours.
Because, if we do..if we become anew through the blood of Christ, and follow Him by becoming a Disciple of Jesus’…His ways will become ours, and therefore, the promise found in Ephesians shows us that we will then do the good things that were planned out for us a long time ago
I know for myself, I have seen and done things that I never thought possible, and yet, I know the best is still yet to come – because it’s not about me and the world…it’s about Jesus and I, but through that, I can, and will, change the world with His hope
“He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
Ephesians 2:10
