Sometimes, you just need to say it as it is! Solomon didn’t mince his words, and for good reason
This morning, as I read, and re-read this Scripture, even though this can be tough to read, for most of us, there is an underlying truth to this, within our lives
How many of us have felt/feel hatred within? That person who has wronged you…That person who always seems to have it easy compared to you…That colleague…That sibling…whoever it is, this Scripture hits home
God is love.
Therefore, where there is hatred. Even that which is buried deep within…it still penetrates our souls, and eventually, we will lie about it, or do something that we’ll regret that goes against God.
This is because with hatred, it can be manipulated by the enemy so that we conceal from God, what He already knows
Friends, hate usually says more about us than the other person. I was filled with hate for many years, and all that was left of me at the end of it all, was brokenness
I want to encourage us today to spend time with God because for some, that hate will come to our minds instantly, but for others, God might show us an image that we dismiss as not hatred…yet, either way, ask God to change our hearts to love others, the way He loves them, and release the pain that follows from your conversation
“Hiding hatred makes you a liar; slandering others makes you a fool.”
Proverbs 10:18
