The Bezalel’s of Life

I love the richness of the Book of Exodus. There are so many things that we can take from the story written there, but today I felt to share about one of the unsung heroes within the Bible

How many of us know who Bezalel is, and what he did?

Bezalel was the guy who built the Tabernacle and all of the things to go into it, and yet, for some of us we will read his name, along with the hundreds of other unsung heroes within the Bible, and not give it a second thought

Why? Because in today’s society, we are programmed to want to become the Esther’s, or the Deborah’s, or the David’s, or the Moses, or Abraham’s etc.

Friends, there are too many people in the world who think that their purpose in life doesn’t matter, because they haven’t got the global platform that they believe they need, to be fruitful for God

Yet, Bezalel reminded me today that although his name isn’t mouthed by the children of today, God saw, and God watched, as Bezalel and his team construct the dwelling place of the LORD. Scripture tells us in Exodus 35 that The Lord had filled Bezalel with the Spirit of God

Therefore, take encouragement today, that if we are filled with the Spirit, and walk with Him, then we are children of God (Romans 8:14) and ultimately, that is all that matters within our lifetime, because God sees and God knows our hearts and the relationship that we have with Him

“The Lord has filled Bezalel with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts.”

Exodus 35:31
