Climbing for God

This morning when I woke, I saw a mountain top with a set of footprints in the snow, then I remembered yesterday, reading this verse in Exodus

”Then Moses climbed the mountain to appear before God.” Exodus‬ ‭19:3‬

God showed me that He is continuing to call us into a higher place of intimacy, but it’s going to be the place where we can come face-to-face before God

God showed me that the enemy is getting smarter with distraction, and more of God’s children continue to look to their left or right, rather than ”up”, towards the path of the mountain top

How many of us are spending less time with God, in favour of reading apps, or listening to podcasts?

God showed me that we have replaced intimacy with Him, over others, but the question that came to mind was:

Will we know God’s voice when we have other people’s in our minds?

”My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish.” John‬ ‭10:27-28‬

Friends, I want to encourage us all to fall back in love with Jesus.

I pray that we turn to Jesus, first.

I pray that we want to speak to Him first thing in the morning, throughout the day, and last thing at night. Let’s stop replacing God…

Let’s stop going around the mountain, in favour of climbing straight into God’s presence, at the mountain top
