The song on my heart, this morning, always speaks to me deeply, because the lyrics remind me of God’s sovereignty but also, that He is an intimate and personal Father.
Our God holds everything in his hand and yet, He loves the one. His breath allows the skies to dance, and yet, He died to save humanity.
I love that God’s grace makes no sense, and our faith in Him is illogical, to most. But, His ways are higher and His thoughts are wilder than we can comprehend – but that’s the point.
There’s no plan B.
God’s plan is to draw closer to us. That we will get to know Him more deeply. To see His heart for us. To hear His thoughts, because we matter to God.
So, here, now…
Let God be all that you need.
Let the Spirit breathe on us.
God is waiting for us to allow Him into our circumstances, so that our trust will rise and faith soar.
God wants our hearts so that we will believe what He speaks to us.
“Give me your heart and embrace fully what I’m about to tell you.” Proverbs 23:26
So today, let God’s voice be all that you hear. Take the logic out of the equation. Stop trying to renationalise what we don’t understand, and simply say, “God, have your way.”
