Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.

This verse has just as much meaning, as when it was told to the exiled Jews.

You have nothing to fear throughout all the tough times, as God is by the side of his chosen people
