Reminder to Move

As I was falling asleep last night, I was chatting to Holy Spirit, and He dropped a thought into my mind that was totally off-topic, but when I woke this morning, He bought me straight back to it, so hopefully it encourages someone…

We know that we are never to remain “stagnant“ within our walk with God because there are so many Scriptures that show that we need to keep moving (ie, we walk through the valley…we run the race etc.) Yet, how many of us are forgetting that although we might keep moving forward, our characters are for the most part, more important?

The Holy Spirit reminded me last night that we are not supposed to remain the same as yesterday, today, or tomorrow because that is Jesus’ role. Our role is to keep pressing into God, so that we don’t become distracted, complacent, or remain stuck

Friends, I want to encourage us not to give up on what God showed us for last year, and even the years to come. Too many of us have thrown in the towel already, and we have decided that we have gone far enough, or that we are happy with where we are. We think that “we’ve made it”

Yet, God is the God of more…

More breakthroughs. More peace. More love. More miracles. More hope. More truth. More memories, and so on

Today, let’s remind ourselves that God’s purposes never fail, but most importantly that God is our biggest cheerleader in us renewing our minds to become more like Christ

“The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control.”
