So many of us focus on our future that we can miss the ”now” part of our lives, but sometimes God will give us glimpses of what is to come, to hold onto something in times of need.
In Genesis, Satan is called, ”the serpent” (Genesis 3:14) but in Revelation, he is called ”the ancient serpent” (Revelation 20:2) – this shows that from the beginning until the end, Satan has continuously tried to deceive, and tried to destroy God’s children, by twisting the truth, by bringing doubt of Who God is, and what is to come
Yet, this morning, one Scripture that stood out to me was from Revelation 20:10:
”Then the devil, who had deceived them, was thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur, joining the beast and the false prophet. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”
The reason that I love this Scripture is that it is final. It is finished. Satan and his fallen angels will no longer rage war against us. There will be no more pain and suffering, because in case you need reminding this morning…
Satan loses 🙌🏼
