The most precious thing on earth ๐ŸŒ

Time…

It’s so innocent in its nature and yet powerful in its path.

There is nothing quite like it.

We can not stop it. We can not change it and yet for most of us, we do not even think about it – why?

At different stages throughout history, we can see that salt or gold was sort after, and yet whether we are rich or poor, we have all been given the most precious commodity of all – regardless of circumstance.

We all have the gift of life (although for some – including myself at one stage – seek to destroy it) but few realise that time is short, until it is nearly up.

Our human nature looks for what the eye can see, and yet God tells us time and time again (no pun intended) that we are to look to the eternal things. Our eternal relationships. Our eternal destiny.

Imagine if we all asked a very simple question, “What do I want to see happen before I die?”

Then imagine if we took just a little more of our time to ask, “What small step is God asking me to take, towards that purpose today?”

Time is so precious, but God has given each of us the perfect amount of it, to ensure that we fulfil all that we have been created to be.

God has told each one of us, to love Him, and to love others. But, it is the outworking of those very things, that is what we are ultimately called for.

Therefore, I pray that we seek God’s wisdom. So then we do not waste the time that we have been given.

The greatest gift you can give someone is your time. Because when you do, you are giving a portion of your life that you will never be able to get back again.
