Seeing Clearly

Personally, I think, our eyes are one of the most beautiful and captivating parts of the body.

It is said that they are the gateway to our soul and I don’t think our eyes can hide our emotions or feelings.

As Christian’s, we have been blessed with different types of vision – seeing with our natural eye and the spiritual vision, God has given us.

Spiritual vision allows us to see the world from God’s point of view and to see what He wants from us in the circumstances we face. But as usual, God has given us the ability to choose as to whether our eyes, in the spiritual sense, become clouded – dark – as we focus on worldly issues.

This passage is talking about money and although money, in itself isn’t evil, the desire and need for it can bring devastation into people’s lives.

Straight after this Scripture, Jesus speaks about worry, for good reason…

Yet today, I want to encourage you that a ”good” eye, as Matthew 6:22 states, is one that is constantly fixed on God
