Either way, return to Him

In Chapter 24, Jeremiah explained a vision that the Lord had given him about two baskets of fig trees. The good figs represented the exiles in Babylon because their hearts would respond to God. The poor figs represented those, who remained in Judah or ran away to Egypt.

We may assume we are blessed when life goes well and cursed when it does not but let’s be honest, either situation can take us away from the Lord.

If you are facing trouble, ask God to help you grow stronger in Him. Or if things are going your way, ask God to help you bless others – but either way, return to Him.
