For God did not give us a spirit of fear. He gave us a spirit of power and of love and of a good mind.
Our strength from the Holy Spirit enables us to be courageous in times of difficulties and danger but it also gives us the power and love from the spirit, that we would die for Christ – just like he did for us.
Do not forsake Jesus
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked I shall return there. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD.”
Even through the tough times – Job did not blame God for his hardship, nor did he turn his back on his faith in The Lord Jesus Christ.
Can you say that when things are going wrong, you do the same?
This is the reason we do not give up. Our human body is wearing out. But our spirits are getting stronger every day. The little troubles we suffer now for a short time are making us ready for the great things God is going to give us forever
Let Gods word of eternal life be your strength and comfort in times of sorrow and pain.
“To me, living means having Christ. To die means that I would have more of Him.”
“Do not take advantage of each other, but fear your God. I am the Lord your God”
Fearing God is a positive thing, as it is the “beginning of knowledge” (Proverbs 1:7)
A healthy fear means that you think of the consequences of disobedience, in the eyes of our Lord and therefore seek to do what is taught in scripture.
We are to be good stewards and not take advantage of others, as putting our trust in God and walking by faith – God supplies all our needs and we can shine for others to see.
“Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms.”
Remember why there is only one set of footprints in the sand…
“Don’t say, “I will get even for this wrong.” Wait for the LORD to handle the matter”
Forgiveness is a powerful thing
It is the way to Gods mercy and peace within our hearts. Let go of the hurt that people have caused you and watch the wonder, of our amazing God transform your life
