Psalm 73:26

When my skin sags and my bones get brittle, GOD is rock-firm and faithful.

Up until the end of your days here on Earth, God will love you no more or no less with each passing day. His love is so great, it is unmeasurable!

God will always be by your side. He is your rock

Romans 12:12

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

It’s always in Gods timing – not ours.

2 Corinthians 4:7

We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.

God is our strength

He allows the Holy Spirit to dwell inside of us, that renews from the inside out.

Hebrews 13:15

Let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise -the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.

A good friend of mine recently preached “What is Worship?”

I began meditating on that notion and we discussed the implications of turning worship into something it’s not.

Do you go to Church and think… “I don’t like this song?” Or “I wish the band played more hymns”

What about when you pray? “Lord I need you to do this for me” Or “I want ??? in order to become what you need me to be”

Worship should ALWAYS be about The Lord!

Singing should be about praising his almighty name…

Prayer should be thanking him for the blessings you have…

Life should be about living to glorify Jesus.

Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone that believes.

Jesus Christ is my saviour and my redeemer.

He is the way, the truth and life and ONLY by him, will we spend eternity together

Leviticus 19:18

Love your neighbor as yourself

This command is easier said than done!

What happens if your Neighbor is a murderer; child molester or keeps you up all night with drinking parties?

1 John 5:17 “All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin that does not lead to death”

The ONLY person able to judge others is Jesus Christ.

We do not know others circumstances. God has placed you where you are for a reason.

Romans 12:9-10

Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.

Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honouring each other.

Do not be fake and two faced.

Instead show Gods mercy and grace to everyone who crosses your path.

Stand out from the crowd – for the right reasons!

Ephesians 2:18

Now all of us can come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us

I love that Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit to have a personal relationship with (John 14:17)

Just like Moses knew God Father and the Apostles knew God Jesus.

How amazing is it to think that although Jesus died to save us, it is the Holy Spirit that continues to work in our lives (if allowed) to help us grow in Gods image.

Psalms 16:11

You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.

Hebrews 12:14

Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see The Lord.

Don’t hang on to the grief from past relationships or disputes with colleagues for instance.

It is all to easy to bear a grudge with someone, than it is to show Gods love and grace.

Forgive, forget and live in Peace – if not for yourself but for your own salvation!

Hebrews 11:1

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.

Faith is one of the fundamental things of Christianity.

It’s what sets us apart, as we have Faith that Jesus Christ will come again.

Hold firm to the promises of God

1 Corinthians 3:16

Don’t you realise that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?

We are no longer under the law of Moses.

Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of the Old Testament so that we may have salvation through him

How incredible is it to receive the Holy Spirit?
