God always gives us the strength to do what He has commanded. This strength, however, just may not be evident until we step out in faith and actually start the task asked of us.
His strength is made perfect in our weakness and so, be bold in your faith and take that step that God is leading you into!
We may not have to die for someone, but there are other ways we can show sacrificial love: listening, helping, encouraging or even giving.
Think of someone in particular who needs this kind of love today.
Your life will never be the same again once you take hold of God’s hand.
His plan for you will exceed your every dream as He protects and guides you for the rest of your life.
So many of us run from the pain in our lives or we try to numb it with medication of some sort, but have you ever wondered that pain might be good for us in many ways?
Whether physically, emotionally or spiritually – it allows you to identify the areas that needs healing.
God is our healer and our restorer and He wants you to live free in Christ – today.
I know first hand what He can do in all three of those areas, when we go to Him in prayer.
“I will give you back your health and heal your wounds,” says the Lord.” Jeremiah 30:17
So I encourage you today…be honest with yourself and ask God to help you because the one thing that makes the enemy tremble, is a person who realises their worth in Christ!
I do not know of a single person who can say that this isn’t true, after they allowed Jesus into their heart.
Too often we ask God to glorify His name with ours but when people see the good work that we have done – all glory should be Gods and not us looking for recognition.
Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name goes all the glory for your unfailing love and faithfulness.” Psalm 115:1
My prayer is that when I ask something of God, the fruit of Gods spirit will be evident in my life. Not so I take credit, but so that others will know of Gods goodness and love.
The secret of a close relationship with God is to pray to him truthfully and thankfully each morning because communication is the key to any strong relationship but it is essential with God.
Reflecting on this scripture, our minds are free from problems in the morning and so we get to commit the whole day to God and trust that He is walking with us, every second .
The Bible says that Gods mercies are new each morning and therefore, so should our prayers be.
