It’s Time to be “Re-”

I stood facing Rangitoto Island (New Zealand) and all I could see was ash lying on the ground. There was no water in between where I stood and the island itself because the land had been decimated, but I was ankle-deep in ash and just kept my eyes on the peak of Rangitoto

Then, Jesus appeared at the summit of the island, and He raised His arms to waist level with His palms facing towards me. A bright golden light shone from Him that surrounded Rangitoto, but it also engulfed the land around for as far as I could see

I looked down because I could feel that my bare feet had become damp, and where there was once ash, it had seeped into the ground where water had risen from the depths of the earth, and the desolate land had now become a sea of crocuses with white, golden-yellow, and deep purple blooms

This is what I heard the Lord say…

It is time for people to rise in their rebirth, to be realigned, repurposed and to ultimately rejoice

I have been relatively quiet of late in posting on social media and my blog because I have been watching the world succumb to the enemies tactics, of trying to destroy each other to bring unrest and chaos

Christians are reborn when they give their lives to Christ, and although we are not perfect, this life is to follow Christ’s ways (Matthew 16:24) and to ultimately love God and love others (Matthew 22:36-40) the best we can

Satan over the last few years has changed the world forever, but we now see panic, fear, doubt and confusion where Christians once stood firm in the faith

These words came to mind when praying over the vision above:

Satan loves to take something beautiful and destroy it. Whereas I will take what’s destroyed and make it beautiful again

God is about to take our ashes and instead give us a crown of beauty

When I looked up the meaning of crocuses, the flower symbolises rebirth and joy because of the time of year that they bloom (which is late winter/early spring)

The Lord then led me to the Scripture found in Isaiah 35:

“Even the wilderness and desert will be glad in those days. The wasteland will rejoice and blossom with spring crocuses. Yes, there will be an abundance of flowers and singing and joy! The deserts will become as green as the mountains of Lebanon, as lovely as Mount Carmel or the plain of Sharon. There the Lord will display his glory, the splendor of our God.”

Isaiah 35:1-2

God is about to realign us back to His Word and to realign us back onto the path of our destiny. Many have steered off course because we have been focused on the world

God will repurpose what satan meant to use to harm us, and so, He is about to renew our thoughts, our actions, and our choices back to Him and replace fear with boldness and worry with the truth

He is calling our souls to become joyful once more, by trusting Him, even in the times where we stand in desolate lands, because where we see dry lands, God sees an ocean underground to nourish what is needed

Christians need to remember that God has the ultimate victory, and therefore, it is time to look to Jesus once more, who is our Lord and Saviour, and sing a new song of His glory and God’s splendour no matter what we face

“To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair.”

Isaiah 61:3
