How many times a day do we actively seek God, speak with Him, and generally just “be” with Him?
I was talking with Kieren the other day about my frustration (again) of not having enough time with God, but honestly, I am unsure if it would ever be enough because I always want more
Yet, in my frustrations over the years, I have realised that we have many opportunities during the day to welcome God into our circumstances, to partner with Him, and to realise what it means to love an omnipresent God
Do we understand that God is everywhere, always? We have to take a moment to breathe, and understand this truth because this should fundamentally shape the way we do life. We need to take advantage of living day-by-day with God, who wants to be apart of our lives and therefore, shouldn’t every waking moment be with purpose?
My frustrations come from now always being present in God’s presence. The pull of life gets the better of me and I realise after these events occur that I could have welcomed Holy Spirit into these circumstances, I could have asked for Godly wisdom, or I could have asked for God’s strength
Friends, we need to be careful how we live in these end days. Ephesians 5 talks about living honourable with true wisdom, and the question that keeps going over and over in my mind for humanity, is just how different would things be if we simply became more aware of the omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient God that was waiting for us to invite Him into every part of our day. I believe that that is where true wisdom starts
Let’s be present in God’s presence
“So be very careful how you live, not being like those with no understanding, but live honorably with true wisdom, for we are living in evil times. Take full advantage of every day as you spend your life for his purposes.”
