Just One More Miracle, Lord

God has so blessed me over the years with the number of healings and miracles in my life, and I say this not to boast, but because it has more to do with my struggles over the past few weeks

You see I have ”dermatitis” which severely affects my hands – ironic right? Considering my love for writing, but my hands bleed, weep, and get infected by so many different things, yet, the toughest one to deal with is water!

Over the past few weeks, I have had a bad infection in my hands, which still haven’t fully recovered, and yet, my pleads to God were not met. My demands and expectations weren’t answered, and Who I know God to be, personally, didn’t come to fruition, but in my prayers, I still whispered to His sweet, sweet name, ”You are still good.”

This skin disease is incurable to the medical professionals, but I know who I serve. I know in ”a second” that God could take it away from my body, but honestly, I questioned God, as to why He hasn’t? He replied with words that have been spoken before ”My grace is enough for you.”

Friends, we all have struggles. We all get sick, and at some point, I do not doubt that we all might need a miracle in one way or another. Yet, God continues to be faithful and true, no matter what comes our way

So, why do I speak of this?

I am passionate about walking in freedom, and God’s healing touch is something that I speak about often, but just like Paul, God did not remove Paul’s affliction, because He promised to demonstrate His power in Paul instead, and therefore just like Paul, in our weaknesses, I want to encourage us this morning, that that is where we will find God’s strength to continue

God is enough…no matter what our struggle

“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.”
