I never fully understood the importance of a praying Mother as this was never modelled to me. I knew the concept that they would pray for their children, to then, see their children standing on those prayers, but as I watch Sarai fulfilling my prayers over the years, it fills me with joy and reverence for the Lord, that only this could accomplish
Being a first-generation Christian is an honour, but it has its disadvantages, in that, there is a continuing ploughing that takes place
When I hear of families that are standing in the 5th, 6th and beyond, generational prayers, I stand with them, in awe at the obedience of those who have gone before them, as I understand that the fruit is abundant in their lives because of who has continued to turn to face the Lord
My greatest blessing, as a Mother, is to pray for my child. To seek the Lord’s will for Sarai’s life, and to prophesy that into being
I now understand the richness of the woman in Proverbs 31
Friends, reading this chapter this morning, filled me with overwhelming praise for God. This woman did not get her strength or dignity from her achievements in life but from her relationship with the Lord!
We need to understand that her attractiveness that we read about is simply from her character of Godly wisdom. It’s Kingdom wisdom
This morning, I pray that you will spend time with God, to seek His will for your life, but also those who He has blessed you to be around. Start prophesying into being, what the Lord shows you for not only yourself but for them as well, because then, what is there to fear, when God has ordained the steps?
“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.”
Proverbs 31:25
