Sometimes we can get stuck in the turmoil of past events that it is like a washing machine spinning you around and around in a never-ending cycle
So many times I have realised that I have gone back into a mindset of the past after being triggered by a present circumstance, and yet, it is when the Holy Spirit roused me from those thoughts that it brings a perspective of just how far God has bought me
Fear can hold us back when we think about ”what might happen”, but C.S Lewis’ quote puts things straight in my mind:
There are far, far better things ahead, than any we leave behind
The enemy has even tormented me about trusting God, and yet, I have testimony after testimony of God’s goodness
I have learnt the secret in going forward, after many failures, because when I have gone ahead into what I wanted, life has always bought a curve ball. Yet, when I let go and step, with God, into what He wanted for me, then life has exceeded every dream that I have ever had
Friends, Isaiah 43:18 is the secret I mention because when God is going to do something new in our lives, it happens, and that is what we need to hold onto
Walking into the future can be daunting, especially if it’s all we have known, but let me assure you, that the things God has for us, are far far better than what the world can offer
““But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.”
Isaiah 43:18
