Kieren and I have been thinking about a Bible verse that we will hold onto in every season, to have cut out of iron, and put on a particular wall, as a declaration for our family
Then the LORD directed us to this verse found in Exodus:
“The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.”
Exodus 15:2
This verse is part of what is believed to be, the oldest song within the Bible, but there is something about the words, that clings to my Spirit, and we loved the words for the following reasons, but I hope the verse encourages you this morning
The Lord is my strength in times of lack, and even in times of prosperity. He is the One that we hold onto. He will protect us. Sustain us, and prepare us, no matter what the season
And my song – we will sing God’s praises until our last breath, because He is worthy of ALL our praise. We want to glorify Him in ALL that we do, because no matter what journey we are currently on, God is always good
He has given me victory – we cannot wait to be with God in the new Jerusalem, but until then, we know that Jesus is the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, because, only a few days ago did we celebrate His death in conquering the grave, and so, because of this, we will ALWAYS have the victory
Be blessed today, no matter where your bubble is. Let me know what Scripture your family holds onto, in the comments, but I pray that the Scriptures help strengthen you, and your beautiful family, in these strange times, the world is currently in
