It is all too easy to have ”faith” in God when life is going well, but it is in the times of darkness…in times of feeling out of control…in times of having that overwhelming fear that you are alone – that is when our faith kicks into action

The enemy will always be good at getting into our heads, but these can be the defining moments in our reality, when we choose to either partner with God, or run in the opposite direction in fear of what might come

It is said that we receive the breakthrough when the first step is taken. My thoughts today are whether we trust in Who God is to take that first step

Friends, you might feel like you are in the very pit of hell, and yet, let me encourage you that Jesus has the keys of Hades. Scripture tells us that no matter how much darkness surrounds us, God is there. He is just waiting to be asked to help us

Therefore, today, I want to encourage you to take that step towards God’s freedom and peace. But, not because I have said too, but more, because you believe in the One who sits at the right hand of God

So, ask yourself this question: Are you going to step out today in fear, or faith?

“Because of God’s tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace.”

Luke 1:78-79
