When someone has no hope in their life, generally, it seems like they give up. This is because we were created for a relationship. But, it’s not just any relationship, where we try and fill the ”void” in today’s world
It’s a God-shaped void that will never be satisfied…it’s a longing for something that we can’t put our finger on…until the Holy Spirit is dwelling within us
So, we need to get to a point in our lives where we start to ask, to seek, and to find ultimately, where our peace truly lies
Friends, there are some of you reading this today that have lost your trust in God and that has unfortunately stolen your peace and joy
I want to encourage you that you need to turn back to Him – as you are. Run back to God because trusting Him again (no matter where you have found yourself in life) will not only bring back your peace and joy, but most of all, He gives us a hope, found in the blood of Christ, that is firm and secure as we go about our daily lives
“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Romans 15:13
