satan’s Kryptonite

The last three chapters of Life’s Greatest Battles are written to show us how to overcome the battles we face, and I honestly believe that the Scripture found in 1 Thessalonians 5:16 is one of the keys to breakthrough

Joy is a choice, but it is a subsidiary, or a by-product of something else: our experience of God’s love, which in turn, produces love and joy in our lives

If we think about it, it’s easy to see how satan works in this world. If we look at the fruits of the Spirit in Galatians 5, it everything that opposes these traits in us, but joy is a choice (and many times, it is a hard one at that) but when we know God, and we are walking with the Spirit (as found in Romans 8) the fruit found in our lives is evident to see

Friends, I may not know what you are going through in your life and some things we just don’t understand why they happen. But I can assure you that joy is satan’s kryptonite and when you use it in your life, the devil will flee

When we do God’s will for our lives, we will always find it easier to be joyful and thankful and as we read about so often in the Bible, our joy, prayers, and thankfulness to the Lord, should not fluctuate with our circumstances in life

“Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”
