A couple of years ago, God put on my heart to write a book about the greatest battles we can all face within our lives, and being honest, most of us have probably already experienced these battles, in some way, shape, or form, but it’s also why I am so passionate about ”releasing the captives” with this world
But, it was when I was praying into these battles, and then God showing me how to win these battles, that He gave me the Scripture from John 8:36
This Scripture has been one that has spoken to me in many seasons of my life. It’s the Scripture that can bring praise to our lips because Jesus brings freedom, but also, the Scripture where we can get down on our knees, to declare this over our lives, in the hard times
Friends, God has shown me that the real battle isn’t putting one foot in front of the other to overcome life’s struggles, the real battle is having the belief that we are indeed free because of Calvary
It’s letting go of what was, to step into all that God has for us, in Him
It’s trusting God, over our mind, to believe, that despite our circumstances, we are still free, even in this very second, to be all that God has created us to be
But; finally, it’s walking out those faith steps, that our faith is found in Christ alone
What battles are being faced right now? Have we given them to God? Do we have God’s peace over our lives? What do we need to surrender (again) to Him, so that we are walking in the true freedom that Christ died for?
I encourage us all today, to step into God love. The battle we face is not ours. It’s a supernatural war that we are caught up in, but I pray, that we put on God’s armour for His protection, and then focus on Him, because it’s in doing that, that we will discover not only who we are, but that God will always victorious, for all of eternity
“So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.”
