Suit Up my Friend

The armour of God is vital because even today some of us still have no clue about what the real fight in life is. I hear so often about issues that people are dealing with, but they reject the very notion that the enemy is the one at play.

There is no such thing as a random occurrence in life, but the enemy is so good at making things seem coincidental that once we realise his schemes, more often than not, some damage has already taken place.

There is no point playing ignorant to the things that are occurring around us, just because we don’t want to acknowledge the enemy.

It is also important to understand that satan is not omnipresent. He can’t be in different places at the same time—and therefore he uses the fallen angels, demons, to help him run this world.

The god of this world, satan, (2 Corinthians 4:4) shows how powerful he can be, if he was persuasive enough to convince a third of all angels to follow him in his rebellion. After all, they were all surrounded by God’s presence and therefore knew who God was intimately.

Yet satan is still no match for the Holy Spirit; and the fact is, if one-third of the angels fell, that means there are still two-thirds of the angels left fighting for God in the spiritual realm

Most of the battle for us, is realising that we have an enemy. The rest is going to God in prayer, with our armour on, ready to fight in the natural, so in the supernatural, atmospheres are changed and the battles are won. That’s when we experience the breakthrough in our lives.

Friends, we need to remember that we come from a place of victory, but the enemy wants us to think that we are defeated, so he can try and leverage us.

This is a lie.

And so, when we believe that we need to align our behaviour to what all of the Word of God says, the enemy then realises that we
mean business.

This is because when we choose to walk in victory as a son or daughter of the living God, whatever satan then tries to throw at us, the armour is there to protect and guard us so that we are strong enough to follow God into what He has called us for. We are then powerful in Christ

“A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.”
