The Circle of Mistakes

There is something about ”direction” that I love. Maybe it’s the thought of looking back to see the path so far, or perhaps, it’s looking ahead and trusting God with what I cannot see, but I know for me, I felt like my path was one big circle of mess, for years, and adore, that now, although not perfect, I am walking with God the best I can

The old saying, ”going around in circles,” was literally my life, and yet, at the time, I could not fathom why this was

Then, when I met God, He pressed on my heart to stop and breathe…to reflect…and breathe…to ask ”why”…and breathe…to look around at the direction I had taken…and breathe…to listen…and to see the other path

Scripture shows us that our eyes bring light to our soul. How many of us feel like we are walking in darkness right now, and don’t know which way to turn? This is because our eyes are powerful, and even spiritually, they determine our course of direction.

“Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body.” Matthew‬ ‭6:22‬

Friends, when we pause and breathe, it breaks the cycle of hate, of fear, of confusedness, and destruction, because it allows us to seek God.

Sometimes when we continue to run in circles, it’s because we think that there is no other way, and yet, the Scripture found in Proverbs makes us understand that the right path is near.

Freedom is never too far away that we can not reach it. It’s just whether we are going to be intentional to look straight ahead and mark out the path of our lives, with God, because then, we will never follow the evil of this world

”Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path. Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil.” Proverbs‬ ‭4:25-27‬
