How often do we really seek God?
A place where we spend time with Him, we read in His word, or to stop and feel His presence surround us
I love when I can call His name, and I instantly feel connected to the Father, but there has to be a pause, a time of stillness, or an expectation
Friends, there is a purity about seeking God wholeheartedly
It comes from a deep desire within, to know the One who saved our souls, who stills our minds, and who outpours a love like no other
But when we do, there is an uprising of peace, of joy, and of gladness, that bursts open like an overflowing river
It’s the same regarding us seeking Him during our pain and suffering, our wonder, our fears, and turmoil – God turns mourning into gladness because others then see. Others question. Others seek. The joy that overflows within us becomes a catalyst to the world around us
My prayer today is that we will seek God, like when we first met Him…with that same eagerness and determination to have just one more second with the Father
