God gave me my ”mandate” a few years ago, and I (then) realised that this was what I would dedicate my life to.
This mandate was the reason I burned with righteous anger over certain circumstances, and this mandate was the reason that I broke (beyond understanding) with uncontrollable sobbing
At the start of this journey with God, I could not understand why I had such strong emotions for a group of people. I just ”knew that I knew” that I needed to reignite people’s desires…to put an ”alarm clock” on loud within people’s lives… to awaken the sleeping church spiritually
A mathematician calculated a few years ago that there were 2.3 billion Christians in a world of 7.3 billion people. But in this, if those individuals shared the Gospel as we have been commanded to do, the Great Commission would be fulfilled within seven days (I’ll let that sit with you for a second!)
This was another reason that I started to write Life’s Greatest Battles because the enemy has blindsided us to God’s truths and we aren’t even aware of those lies, most of the time, until the devastating repercussions are raging within our lives
The enemies tactics have always been to steal, kill, and destroy. To steal hope. To kill dreams. To destroy destinies. But it’s more than that – there are millions of people who think that to live a ”good life” is all it takes to go into Heaven when Scripture tells us in so many ways – that is incorrect
Friends, the first reason we are alive is to have an intimate relationship with God – I say this a lot! But, the fruit from this relationship is to partner with God for all of our days and to ask Him, ”Lord, what do YOU want me to achieve in my lifetime?” I can guarantee that it will far exceed your expectations, but it will also play a fundamental part in God’s plan to save humanity
We are God’s warriors. His secret ninjas. We, therefore, take on the heart of the Father to see ALL His other children ”come home” before the day is done.
So my question to you today is simple…
Are you awake?
”I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.” Revelation 3:15-16
