When I think back of how far I have come with Jesus, I fall to my knees in awe
Last night, I was reading a copy of my new book, ”Life’s Greatest Battles” that my publisher has sent through (before it goes to print) and in one of the chapters, I write about comparison in our social-media-frenzied-world, but also, just in life in general.
You see, I am the epitome of what happens when comparison is the tune of your life because I was compared since birth (as a twin), but also, I then thought that comparison was the standard within life.
I thought that seeing our downfalls, should make us work harder, go faster, and strive more…right?
I am a walking testimony of what the world can do and how God overcomes it.
It has taken me years to break free of this stronghold, and the incessant need to continuously compete, to pull others down, and (as sad as it sounds) to even ”hate” people just because of their social status
Friends, all of it is one big fat lie from the enemy, and he is cheering you on in the background, whispering sweet nothings in your ears
I wrote ”Life’s Greatest Battles” to bring awareness to the battles many are facing, and yet, we aren’t even aware of them. I felt God say that ”awareness is the start of breakthrough.” Therefore, my new book will uncover God’s truths for your life, and how to break free (for good) regarding the strongholds God spoke to me about, and the path that I took within them.
I have lived this! And so, I want to encourage you, that if God can reach me in my darkest times, then He will do the same for you
”He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.” Psalms 23:3
