I often get asked, “what does God want me to do?” and my simple answer is, “to pray.”
When we look at the people who now are included in the great cloud of witnesses – what do these amazing people of faith, all have in common?
…Prayer
They were not afraid to submit to the One who had written about this day, long ago
I see the Scripture from Philippians, and it says:
“that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,” Philippians 2:10
If we want to flourish in this lifetime, let’s bow down and pray
If we want to see God move mightily, let’s get on our knees and pray
Prayer is the master key to unlocking the earth, as it is in Heaven
Friends, God’s temple is ultimately the whole world. He created it. It is His. Therefore, it’s time to realise the power of prayer!
Yet, we have been disillusioned that to get on our knees is a weakness, but when we read Scripture, it’s actually our strength
It’s time to submit, because when the world becomes a house of prayer, we worship as One, and that is when Heaven will invade earth
And I don’t know about you, but I want to see Jesus come in my lifetime, and see every knee bow with my own eyes, instead of just my spiritual ones!
