Receiving God’s Joy

If there is one thing that I now understand, is that, just because we go to the throne room of God, doesn’t mean that we are going to be, with God, and this verse shows us this

To want to enter God’s throne room, it means to have a life of complete surrender, but to then go to God himself, also means a life of continued repentance

Yet, in doing so, we go to the very source of what God provides us with because then, our lives reflect the Heart of Who God is

We were created to have joy. A neverending wave of indulgent purity that comes from being free.

Freedom is realising Who’s throne is before you

Freedom is knowing that complete surrender means that worry and fear have no place in our lives because we see Who is ultimately in control

Freedom is understanding that sin is part of who we are, but it doesn’t define us – only God does, and therefore when we submit and continually let go of it, we receive freedom and joy that can last forever

God is our source of true liberation and joy

On 4th July – Independence Day – I celebrated 13-years of knowing God.

In 2006, I had no idea of the journey I had just embarked on because at the time I felt like the prayer was just words I spoke. I had no concept regarding the life I would lead, the places I would go, or the fantastic people I would meet

Americans celebrate Independence Day because it represents freedom for their Country, and that brings joy to the land. I celebrate Independence Day each year, as the day that I found spiritual freedom, and thus, true joy.

Friends, wherever you are this morning, I want to encourage you that freedom, peace and joy are available to us all. It’s simply understanding the journey we will all go on to find the true Source of it all
