This was at a time where God was asking Moses to lead God’s people out of slavery. It was a time full of uncertainty and even danger for the Israelites.
Have you ever been in a situation where you felt inadequate to fulfil what God was asking of you?
Like Moses, there are times when I have made excuses to God as to why someone else might be a better candidate, and yet, it is through my obedience that the greatest blessings and adventures have been birthed.
It is natural for us to feel uncertain and even fearful of the unknown but just like Moses, God wasn’t asking us to work alone.
God often will call us to do tasks that seem impossible but He knows that we can do it because God will be with us.
We need to stop looking at our inadequacies – as Moses did – and look to the resources God will provide us when needed.
All God needs is for us to say “Yes” and “Amen” and then we need to let Him worry about the finer details.
So remember, if God has asked something of you…
You can do this, because God is with you!
