Before finding God, I thought that Christianity was restrictive and boring.
I also felt like it was for people that needed something to cling onto because life was just “too hard” for them.
How right, and yet, how wrong, I was!
I love it when God puts a song on my heart, and this morning I woke up singing “God so loved” by Hillsong, in my head.
I look back at my life so far and realise just how far I have come.
Christianity hasn’t restricted my life, but from it, I found true freedom. God has set me free.
Before Christ, I battled with so many things, that I know within my heart, one of the battles I faced, would have eventually, taken me forever.
So, I hold onto the cross, daily, and I will run into God’s arms, daily, because I know without His love and guidance, I would not be whom I am today.
There’s no turning back for me. I live to serve God.
