Be God’s Warrior

The armour is God has to be one of my favourite things to talk about, because Paul talks about the real fight in our lives.

God formed each and every one of us with a purpose. A pre-ordained purpose to help fulfil God’s greater plan.

Unfortunately, we forget that God has won the victory. But like all battles, there are times where we feel like we are taking hits and want to run, or even, give up altogether.

There is a warrior inside everyone of us but to be effective in battle, armour needs to be worn. Armour that will protect us against the devil’s schemes.

You were chosen – therefore, be the warrior that God created you to be.

Just remember to be strong in the Lord and mighty in His power. In other words – don’t fight on your own because everything we do, is for His glory!

God has given us everything we need to succeed – it just usually looks like us on our knees – praying.

“Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” Ephesians‬ ‭6:10-18‬

Rebecca Brand

My hearts desire is for everyone to have an intimate relationship with Christ. To hear the voice of God and to experience His presence. Also, to help disciple others to discover their purpose within the body of Christ - through the power of the Holy Spirit.

My God-given dream is to break down barriers within life and the Church as a whole to strengthen and develop relationships within every denomination and bring unity - so that we will collectively raise up together and fulfil the Great Commission, within this lifetime.

I am living proof that no matter what your past was or whatever your life has become - God will use you to fulfil what He created you to do, when you step out in obedience and faith.
