Yesterday, I was talking to my daughter, Sarai about money, because she dreams of having so much wealth in order to have a “nice life,” but to also help others.
I know people on both sides of the spectrum (with regards to wealth,) but this proverb gives an amazing truth for us all.
Whether rich or poor, Paul says in both circumstances – be content. (Philippians 4:12)
Ultimately, it all boils down to Jesus. We all have needs and God promises to meet every single one of them. But, if money becomes a focal point in our lives, then who are we truly serving?
