When things are going wrong, or you have just received amazing news, who’s the first person you call?
Your Husband or wife? Your Mum or Dad? Your Brother or Sister, a Friend or maybe even your Pastor?
How about God?
God reaffirms time and time again in scripture (Psalm 145:18; Isaiah 58:9; Matthew 7:7) that we can call on Him and He is ready to answer and definitely ready to listen!
Do you know that we must ask for His assistance?
Don’t get me wrong, of course God could take care of all our needs without our asking but when we ask, we are acknowledging that He alone is God and whether we are going through good times or bad, we need Him.
