How many of us still have trust issues?
That we cannot fully give ourselves to God.
We feel that we would rather do life alone than let God too close. In fear of hearing “I told you so.”
The Israelites had no excuse for abandoning God and yet they still wanted to do so because of fear. They were scared of the unknown, so thought slavery was a better option.
How many of us would rather be slaves to our existing lives rather than stepping out and trusting God?
Just like the Israelites, God always protected them, He had guarded them like a mother eagle who protects her young. He had led them out of slavery into the promise land.
And He alone leads us.
Let’s remember to trust in Him.
