Apostle Paul is one of those people whom, when we get to heaven, I have a list of questions for! Do you have people from the Bible like that?
There is so much that we can learn from Paul’s life, but reading Galatians this morning God bought revelation to me, regarding my own life.
Galatians 1:23 “The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.”
For anyone that has read my testimony you will know that being raised atheist, I had strong opinions about God, religion and “faith” in general. It wasn’t until just a few years ago that I began to wrestle with knowing that I had taken people away from Christ. I felt broken – the guilt was tremendous – but this allowed me to go on a journey with God that has forever changed me. God revealed my destiny and my purpose.
This scripture spoke to my soul about what God is doing in my life, just as He did with Paul. Paul’s changed life had bought praise from those who saw him because his new life had astonished them. They praised God for Paul (v24) because it was only God that could have turned the zealous persecutor of Christian’s into a Christian himself.
You many not have had the dramatic change that Paul experienced but still, our lives should honour God in every way because people need to see Christ through you.
