“Oceans” by Hillsong is an amazing song.
It brings me so much encouragement and strength when I step into the depths of an unknown situation. For me, these are the times when God asks something of me that makes my heart race and yet, I know that God is in the midst of it all when His peace covers my soul.
Psalm 143:10 “Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.”
David’s prayer was to be taught to do Gods will, not his own. A prayer for guidance is self-centered if it doesn’t recognise Gods power to redirect our life.
I want to be led by the Spirit without borders; without boundaries; or without question. Because when we trust God completely to lead us, it awakens our minds and stirs our wills that He knows and that is all that matters.
