The scary part…

My Husband, Kieren and I are about to embark on a major life change. We have been stirred over the last few months to step into what God has placed on our hearts for the next season.

The Bible talks strongly about faith and without it, it is impossible to please God. However, it can be easier said than done, when God asks us to live by faith and not by sight! How many of us would love to see the whole picture before taking “that step?”

We all have household bills, car repairs and/or school fees etc.. but do you realise that there will always be a bill? Dreams will remain dreams if we put off our God-given purpose, and be constantly in the mindset of, “we need to do…x…y…z…before we can do what God is asking.”

The warning against the love of money stems from the awareness, that in a fallen world it creates a detachment of working toward the transformation of the world – we were called by God to fulfil the great commission! If money is the main reason we take a job, start that company, choose friendships or even the way we spend our time; can we actually say that we are living by faith?

God has taught my Family, that when we feel like we have nothing, we should not despair; if we have enough, then we should be content; and if we have much, then we bless others abundantly.

But, no matter what – God is first in whatever season we are in.
