Galatians 6:4-5 “Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else”
One of the easiest ways to discourage yourself and get trapped by envy, is to compare yourself to others.
Satan can not discourage you from the purpose God has for you, if your mind is focused on the Lord.
Theodore Roosevelt said “Comparison is the thief of joy.”
I can’t reach people that God has called others to reach, therefore if I am always looking at others achievements, then I will start to compare myself and look at who I’m not, rather than loving who God created me to be.
