I feel absolutely blessed to be a Mum to our Daughter. She is currently 8 years old (going on 27) but she never fails to blow my mind with her desire and thirst to know more of the World, God created.

There are times where I think I am failing as a Parent or times where nothing seems to go right but then there are times where I am in awe of the little person, that looks to my Husband and I for guidance, for reassurance and love or when she will say or do something that is in-line with Gods truths and that is what I hold onto!

We all have good and bad days. As parents we can critique ourselves more than most. Comparison rots the soul and it’s not until we realise that we are unquie and beautiful in our own right, that we can let go of expectation and live to be who God created us to be. Perfect in His eyes

This scripture reminds me that although some days…I do get things wrong. I will look back on my Daughters life and realise that as long as we have pointed her towards Jesus – God has her and therefore she will not fall (Psalm 46:5).
