Misquoted scripture…

There are times when even I do this without thinking of the actual context surrounding the verses commonly used.

We often use the above verse with reference to prayer but Jesus is with each & everyone of us – so that doesn’t actually make sense that there needs to be two or three. This is where confusion can occur.

Therefore, the themes that are present in the context of this verse are forgiveness and reconciliation with people, who have wronged against you or who has gone astray from their faith.
Jesus, therefore is saying that whenever the “church” (a group of people) make a decision on matters of right and wrong (according to Gods word & glory) Jesus is present.

Have a blessed day šŸ˜Š

Rebecca Brand

My hearts desire is for everyone to have an intimate relationship with Christ. To hear the voice of God and to experience His presence. Also, to help disciple others to discover their purpose within the body of Christ - through the power of the Holy Spirit.

My God-given dream is to break down barriers within life and the Church as a whole to strengthen and develop relationships within every denomination and bring unity - so that we will collectively raise up together and fulfil the Great Commission, within this lifetime.

I am living proof that no matter what your past was or whatever your life has become - God will use you to fulfil what He created you to do, when you step out in obedience and faith.
