Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.
You can not love and fear the same person in life – it is the same with regards to Jesus
Although we should be aware of Gods punishment on Judgement Day, to truly love Jesus means you strive to live a like him anyway and therefore will not be fearful
